ATM FORUM: Technical Committee Working Group ATM_Forum/94 ***************************************************************************** SOURCE: Poetry Ad Hoc Working Group ***************************************************************************** TITLE: Flaws in the Proposed change to first line of Poem ***************************************************************************** DATE: Oct 10, 1994 ***************************************************************************** DISTRIBUTION TO: ATM Forum Poetry Working Group Members ***************************************************************************** ABSTRACT This contribution points out some flaws in the proposed change to the first line of the ATM Forum Poem. ***************************************************************************** NOTICE This contribution has been prepared to assist the ATM Forum. This poem is offered to the Forum as a basis for discussion and is not a binding proposal on the participating member companies. The material contained in these verses is subject to change in rhyme and/or meter after more study. Each of the participating member companies specifically reserves the right to add to, or amend, the stanzas contained herein. *****************************************************************************
We believe that it would be a grave mistake for the Forum to change the first line of it's poem to read:
"My love is like a red, red jello"since years of dedicated research have demonstrated that only "Electric Lime Green (ELG)" jello can be safely used in the presence of high speed communications equipment.
Graphs comparing the results of spilling dangerous red jello and the much safer ELG jello onto powered circuit boards will be presented at the November meeting of the ATM Forum Technical Committee.
